This rule is used to validate:
- Reference ID of Message - to confirm that message has not been sent yet
To perform this validation, the following information is used:
Description
If a student message/notification has already sent for the message type, diploma exam period and school year, no message or notification is to be sent out and this error will display to the user.
Include the following as needed:
- Effective Starting School Year: all time
- Effective Ending School Year: all time

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
The {message type} message and notification have already been sent for {diploma exam period} {school year}.
Where:
- {message type} is the message type (short description) in context.
- {diploma exam period} is the current diploma exam period.
