This rule is used to validate the following data in a Student Credential record:

• Credential Number (Awarded Student Credential)

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Alberta Student Number (Student Credential)
• Student (Student Hold)
• Expiry Date (Student Hold)

The Student associated to the Credential Number has a student hold with a type of Official Mark Hold with an Expiry Date that is today or later.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

• {Credential Number} is the Credential Number of the credential requested.

This rule applies to:

• Release 4.03 – Added/Updated
• Release 6.00 - This rule was updated to use the new method to lookup the credential by number - to also look in the audit for credential numbers
