SADS (School Authority Database System) is the source of truth for School Authority and School information within Alberta Education. This information is managed by the Student Records area via SADS, and is shared with other downstream applications as necessary, including PASI.

PASI needs to use School Authority and School information for a number of purposes including the implementation of security and privacy features, and validation of enrolment data submitted from the school authorities.
