Rule 10108 - Summer School Enrolment Period Doesn't Match Calendar Year

Rule Type Warning

Validated Data

Description

For summer school enrolments (Programming Type = Summer School and Programming Timeframe = Day) with a Start Date and Exit Date, the enrolment period must be contained within a valid summer school schedule type (SuS (School Calendar Year Type)) for the identified school year.

This rule is not applicable when the record is deleted or the Registration Start Date is in the future and the School Year is a 'Future' school year.

If the enrolment start date is in the future, set the Next Scan Date to be equal to the enrolment start date.

Effective Period

  • This validation rule is effective starting the 2012/2013 school year.

Additional Notes

If a Operating Schedule is referenced as part of the summer school enrolment, the rule will fail if the School Calendar Year Type is not SuS, the enrolment start date is before the Schedule Opening Date or the enrolment exit date is after the Schedule Closing Date.

If a School Calendar Year is not referenced, the rule will pass if there are any School Calendar Year records that satisfy the criteria.

Message

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

  • Invalid Enrolment Period. Based on the information within PASI, the school associated to the enrolment ({SchoolCode}) does not offer summer school for the duration of the enrolment period (from {RegistrationStartDate} to {RegistrationExitDate}).
