This rule is used to validate the following data in a Student Address record:

• Street

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Country
• Expiry Date (Student Address)
• Next Scan Date

The street information should not contain the country. This rule applies only to foreign, non-Canadian addresses.

This rule does not apply if:

• The Expiry Date of the Student Address record has been set and is more than 6 months in the past.
• The Country of the Student Address is Canada.

If the Expiry Date has been set and is within the last 6 months or is in the future, the Next Scan Date will be set to 6 months following the Expiry Date.

This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

This rule follows the PASI Data Format Guidelines to determine if the address is in Canada.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

Where:

• {Country} is the Country of the record
• {RefID} is the Reference ID (Student Address) of the record.

This rule applies to:

• Release 5.3 - Updated to not apply 6 months after the Expiry Date.
• Release 4.02 – Added/Updated
