This rule is used to validate the following data in a Student Name record:

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Preferred Name

The Preferred Name cannot be deleted.

• This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

Invalid Request. You cannot delete the Preferred Name record.

This rule applies to:

• Release 1.x – Added/Updated
• Release 5.10 - Removed from Submit Student Identification Information service
