This rule is used to validate:

• Student Phone Number - Phone Number Type (Home)

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Next Scan Date
• Is Residing With Parent/Guardian
• Parent/Guardian Home Number
• Has Same Home Phone Number as Student
• Parent/Guardian Expiry Date
• Parent/Guardian Is Deleted

This rule applies active parent guardian records where Parent/Guardian Is Deleted condition = No.

This rule is checking the student's Student Phone Number - Phone Number Type is 'Home' and comparing it to Parent/Guardian Parent/Guardian Home Number where the Is Residing With Parent/Guardian flag is true.

For a student residing with one or more parent/guardians, each Parent/Guardian record is compared as follows:

Student does not have a home phone number:

• Student does not reside with a parent/guardian – rule passes
• Student resides with parent/guardian and parent/guardian does not have a home phone number – rule passes
• Student resides with parent/guardian and parent/guardian does have a home phone number – rule fails

Student does have a home phone number:

• Student does not reside with a parent/guardian – rule passes
• Student resides with parent/guardian and parent/guardian does not have a home phone number – rule fails
• Student resides with parent/guardian and parent/guardian does have a home phone number – the following are compared:
  1. Any student home phone number matches any parent/guardian home phone number for the parent/guardian they reside with – rule passes
  2. No student home phone number matches any parent/guardian home phone number for the parent/guardian they reside with – rule fails

Expiration Date Handling If this advice exists for a parent/guardian record and the record is deleted or the record expires - this advice is removed.

Include the following as needed:

• Effective for all school years.

If the student resides with a parent/guardian and the parent/guardian has a home phone number, the student must have a matching home phone number.

If the student resides with a parent/guardian and the student has a home phone number, the parent/guardian must have a matching home phone number
