This rule is used to validate:
To perform this validation, the following information is used:
Description
The Start Date of the Section is before the current date and there are no Course Enrolments associated to the Section.
If the Start Date (or derived Start Date) is in the future, the Next Scan Date for the section's Validation Status will be set to the Section Start Date.
This validation rule is in effect for all school years.
Additional Notes
- This rule does not apply to Sections that are deleted.
- Course enrolments that are deleted are not considered associated.
- If the Section Start Date is not available, the Section Date Deriver Logic will be used to derive one.
Message
When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
Empty Section. The Section does not have any associated course enrolments as of the Section Start Date ({Section Start Date}).
Where:
- {SectionStartDate} means the Start Date field value on the Section record or the derived Start Date
