This rule is used to validate the following depending on the submitted record type:

• Courses Offered
• Course Code (Course Enrolment)

The following data is used when performing this validation:

• Subject Code
• Discipline Code

The following courses cannot be used when defining course work for a student:

• Courses to track Unallocated Credits - Courses with:
  • A Subject Code of OTH, and
  • A Discipline Code of OTHUCT

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

• Invalid Course Code. Course Code ({CourseCode}) cannot be submitted using this method.

Where:

• {CourseCode} means the course code on the submitted record
