This rule is used to validate:

• Document Order Item

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Setting Name
• Setting Value
• Document Order Item Status
• Document Order Item Recipient Client Identifier
• Document Order Item Recipient Institution Identifier
• Transcript Request Identifier
• Document Order Item Delivery Method

The user cannot retrieve official documents containing the Minister’s signature when the PASISetting Core.MinisterSignatureEnabled is set to ‘No’.

Only documents with an ElectronicFormat of XML will be returned by the RetrieveTranscript service at that time.

This rule has been implemented to fail on the safe side and strictly reject any document retrieval where a documents associated ElectronicFormat is not XML.

The RetrieveTranscript service does not require a consumer to provide an ElectronicFormat as part of its request criteria, a retrieval will default to whatever Electronic format was provided when the document was originally requested through the associated Request Transcript service call.

During retrieval in that scenario, if any single document in the list of documents to be returned has an ElectronicFormat other than XML, the entire retrieval request will be rejected.
