This rule is used to validate that the following data when adding or editing a Student Hold:

• Student Hold

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Alberta Student Number
• Is Deceased
  

When a student hold record is added or edited the Student must not be deceased.

• This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

Invalid ASN for Student Hold. Student Hold cannot be placed on Deceased Student
