The purpose of this service is to logically delete the Credential Number of a specific Student Credential.

The service can be accessed by systems with the PASI System User role.

The following information is provided when using this service:

• Credential Number*
• Delete Reason
• PASI Core Version*

The following rules are used to validate the information provided in the request:

• Rule 9023 - Empty Update
• Rule 44001 - Awarded Credential on Secondary ASN
• Rule 44002 - Invalid Credential Number
• Rule 44015 - Awarded Credential has document order item(s) with statuses of 'Ordered', 'Ready for Delivery', ‘User Hold,’ or ‘System Hold’.

The service will perform the following:

• If the Student Credential is not deleted, update (and audit) the following for the specified Student Credential:
  • Is Deleted (Awarded Student Credential) = True
  • Delete Reason = As specified in the request

• If the Student Credential is deleted and delete reason is null, update (and audit) the following for the specified Student Credential:
  • Is Deleted (Awarded Student Credential) = False
  • Delete Reason = null

Once the updates have been applied, PASI creates a Transcript Trigger to reassess credential eligibility.

The usage of this service is audited using Service Auditing including the auditing of Caller Information.

When deleting an awarded credential impacts the student's Maturity Date, a Course Enrolment Status Processor Trigger will be created for any of the student's Course Enrolment records with a Course Enrolment Start Date that is between the old and the new maturity date.

• Credential Type
• Alberta Student Number
• Credential Number*
• PASI Core Version
