This process outlines the general process that occurs when a student registers in a school for the first time and the subsequent process that the new school follows to obtain the Student’s Student Record.
This scenario begins when a Student with a full Digital Student Record registers at a school that they have never attended.
This scenario ends with the student enrolled in the new school and they school has an up to date and accurate Student Record for the student in PASI.
Note: If the new school is an out of province school, they would not be using this process. They would be using the “Request Access to Student Record by Third Party User” process.
This scenario begins after Step 3 of the Primary Scenario when the new school has determined that there are documents missing from the student’s Digital Student Record in PASI.
This scenario ends with the student enrolled in the new school and they school has an up to date and accurate Student Record for the student.
Note: This alternate scenario applies when the student has a combination of a digital and physical Student Record in schools within PASI. It also applies when the previous school is an out of province school.
The following artifacts will be used when performing this process.
