The details in this section are driven by the diploma exam marks found for a given student during the selected Exam Session and School Year. For each diploma exam activity performed by the student, there will be corresponding school mark and exam mark information displayed. The right most column displays the latest Official Mark calculated as of the Results Statement issue date.
The Diploma Exam Courses and Marks section shows the school mark, exam mark, exam component mark and official mark for each course. Only courses that satisfy the following conditions will be shown in the section:
Each Diploma Course included will have School Mark and Exam Mark information as line items. The Exam Mark line item represents the Exam mark that matches the ‘Exam’ defined in the Exam Session. Exam mark with ‘Registered’ status will be suppressed in this statement. If there are multiple Exam Marks for the same course, exam period, and school year, only the exam mark record with the highest mark value will be displayed.
School Mark line item is visible only when a course enrolment linked to the exam mark record is found. This matching Course Enrolment is one for the same student where:
Exam Period | Course Enrolment Section |
---|---|
November | Quarter 1 |
Jan |
Semester 1 |
April | Quarter 3 |
June |
Semester 2 |
August | Summer |
If multiple Course Enrolments for the same Exam Mark record are found only the Course Enrolment with the highest course enrolment mark value is linked.

When Exam Mark value is unavailable then the Exam Mark Status is displayed in the Mark column of Exam Mark line item. Exam marks with Special Case, Split Writing, Partial, and Full Exemption statuses have mark values awarded, hence the mark column will display the Exam Mark awarded. So a note will be displayed to describe the special circumstances. List of Diploma Exam Mark Notes mapped with the exam mark status code values defined:
Exam Mark Status | Note |

Full Exemption | Full exemption granted. |
Partial Exemption | Partial exemption granted. |
Split Writing | Separate writing approved. |
