Process Document Order Items with a User Hold

Where a Student Records user has previously placed a “User Hold” on a transcript order item (e.g., perhaps a student investigation is underway), they can locate and investigate all records with a current status of “User Hold” using the View Document Order Items PASIprep functionality.

Primary Scenario – Process User Holds

This scenario starts when a Student Records user wants to review and process a Document Order Items that have been placed on hold.

  1. Student Records searches for all transcript Document Order Items with a status of User Hold using the View Document Order Item functionality in PASIprep.
  2. Student Records selects the a particular Document Order Item to view using the View Document Order Item functionality in PASIprep.
  3. Depending on the type of Document Order Item, one of the following sub-processes is used to manage the order item:

This scenario ends with the transcript order item being updated as needed as documented within the Manage Student Transcript Order Items sub-process.

Alternate Scenario #1 – Clarification Required

This scenario starts following step 2 of the Primary Scenario where Student Records requires some clarification from the student.

  1. Student Records contacts the student for clarification.
  2. Student provides clarification to Student Records.

This scenario continues with step 3 of the Primary Scenario.
