Resuming a Rescore Request in Payment Pending

When viewing specific Diploma Exam Rescore Request-related pages on myPass, for any Diploma Exam Rescore Request in PaymentPending (Rescore Payment Status) payment status where the Education Account Identifier = the current user's ID, the PASI EPS2 Payment Reconciliation process will be triggered for each Payment Pending Rescore Request. and the user will be alerted of the reconciliation results.

This reconciliation process will be triggered when user visit the following pages

The messages will be dependent on the result of the reconciliation (which may update the Payment Status.

Reconciliation is never triggered in Admin mode; for more information on the different security modes please refer to the myPass Rescore Request Security Modes.

Rescore Request Payment Status Notification Messages in Public mode

  • If the Rescore Request is in a PaymentPending (Rescore Payment Status) status, it indicates that a payment session has been started for the Request. In this case, the user reconciliation process is triggered on the page load so that the appropriate notification message can be displayed.
    • For more information on the reconciliation process and the possible results of the reconciliation process, please refer to the PASI EPS2 Payment Reconciliation Overview.
    • If the user has multiple Rescore Request where they have placed into Payment Pending status, a message will be displayed for each request.
If the reconciliation result is Message to display Function(s) available
Approved (Paid)(Success Message) Your payment was received for your diploma exam rescore request. You can track your requests from the Diploma Exam page.

Declined

(Warning Message) You have attempted to pay for your request, but the transaction was declined and payment was not received. Please ensure you have entered your credit card information correctly.

Note: If the message is displayed in the Review My Request Screen screen, all the functions will be hidden as the Review screen itself displays the functions.

Lost

(Warning Message) You have attempted to pay for your request, but the payment session has timed out.

In Progress

(Error Message) Please complete the payment for your open rescore request. If you have accidentally closed the payment screen, you will have to wait for the session to time out in approximately {n} minutes before you can pay again.

Note: {n} is the number of minutes remaining when EPS2 will determine the payment as being “Lost“

  • Check My Payment Status Again – allows user to manually trigger the reconciliation to run again for the Request.
