This rule is used to validate:

• Birth Date
• First_Name
• Last Name

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Is Deactivated

When using the Create Student service, the PASI Core will check to confirm that the student does not already exist within the PASI Core.

PASI will search for the student based on the First Name, Last Name, and Birth Date provided in the request. If the search matches against an ASN not included in the 'Acknowledged Similar ASN List' then the request will be rejected.
Deactivated and deleted student identity records are not considered as potential matches during the search.

This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

Note: This rule only applies to Limited Access Schools/Authorities.
