This rule is used to validate:

• Reference ID (Course Enrolment)

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• Student (Course Enrolment)
• Alberta Student Number (Student)
• ASN Status
• Secondary Students

The ASN associated to a Course Enrolment must not be a Secondary ASN.

This validation rule is in effect for all school years.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

• Invalid Alberta Student Number. The ASN associated to the Course Enrolment ({AlbertaStudentNumber}) is considered a Secondary ASN. This Course Enrolment should either be Deleted or moved to use the student's Primary ASN ({PrimaryASN}).

Where:

• {AlbertaStudentNumber} means Alberta Student Number for the Student associated to the course enrolment record
• {PrimaryASN} means the Primary ASN for the Student associated to the course enrolment record
