This rule is used to validate:

  • The organization of the user making the request

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

Description

If deleting a Student Document that is not organization based, then one of the following must also be true:

  • The requesting organization is Alberta Education1), or
  • The requesting organization is a Student Record Custodian,
  • The requesting organization is:
    • attempting to add a document that has a historical Document Type, and
    • a school, or the schools governing authority, with a non-deleted School Enrolment for the student.

Message

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

Access Denied. This student document can only be deleted by the Student Record Custodian. A Student Record Custodian is the organization where the student was either enrolled in their last year of schooling, has a current enrolment, or has an enrolment in a future school year.
