This rule is used to validate:

• Created On
• Student Name
• Original Name
• User Organization Code
• Associated Organization
• Organization Association Type

This rule ensures that an update to the Student Name where the student name is the Original Name can only be made by:

• A Ministry user (associated to the student by By Ministry)

or,

• The same Organization (or parent authority of) that created the student within 30 days of the creation of that student.

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:

This rule is not checking for (associated to the student by By Student Creation). It will not prevent updates that do not include a net change to the Original Name of the student.
