This rule is used to validate:

• Alberta Student Number

To perform this validation, the following information is used:

• User Organization Code
• ASN Status
• Associated Organization
• Organization Association Type
• Classifications
• School Authority Classification Type
• School (Student School Enrolment)

This rule will fail if any one of the following conditions applies:

• The Alberta Student Number does not exist in PASI.
• The request is to update the Alberta Student Number of a Student School Enrolment from a Secondary ASN to the associated Primary ASN and the User Organization Code does not have access to the Secondary ASN.
• The request is to updating the ASN of a Student School Enrolment to an ASN that is not the primary ASN of the previous ASN and the User Organization Code does not have access to the previous ASN.
• The request is to create a new student school enrolment and User Organization Code does not have Access to the Student (Moved).

When this validation rule is triggered, the following message is returned:
