Consent Status
As the Diploma Exam Mark Rescore Result may increase or decrease in mark value, both the student and a parent/guardian of the student must acknowledge that the rescore result will replace the original mark, even if the mark value decreases.
- When student or a parent/guardian submits a request via paper form, both parties must sign the consent before the rescore result will be released to the student.
- When the request is submitted via myPass:
- and the requestor is made by and for the same independent student, the act of submitting online serves as a form of consent from the user (which is either the student, or a connected 3rd party user who will be treated as the parent/guardian).
- and the requestor is made by and for a non-independent student OR by a connected 3rd party for a student, the requestor must print out the consent form and submit it to Assessment before the rescore result will be released to the student.
