This process is responsible for determining when a myPass Message should be sent in relation to a document order being processed by PASI.
This processor runs any time there is a change in the document order item information in the database. When there are changes to a document order item and one of the criteria below is met, this process sends a message to the student regarding that change.
The Document Notification processor looks for document orders that meet specific criteria to trigger a request to PED to send one of the messages defined below.
Messages are only sent when:
These myPass messages are always sent to the student the order item pertains to (if they have an active connection), regardless of how the order was created1).
When the order was created by a connected Parent/Guardian or Authorized User the user will also be sent the message (if they have an active connection).
The processor ensures that two of the same messages are not sent to a student when the in relation to a single document order item.
