This system service is used to add or update an Student Record Access Request.

The service can be accessed by systems with the PASI System User role and

The service validates the request using the following validation rules.

• Rule 9002 - Invalid ASN
• Rule 9011 - Secondary ASN
• Rule 65076 - Cannot Approve - Did not attend this school in last year of schooling.
• Rule 65077 - Cannot Approve - Approval not permitted for Deceased Students
• Rule 65078 - Cannot Approve - Approval not permitted for Student with Student Holds
• Rule 65082 - Cannot Decline - Decline Reason is Required
• Rule 65083 - Cannot Approve - Decline Reason is not Required
• Rule 65084 - Cannot Save - Cannot change the Confirmed ASN.
• Rule 65086 - Cannot Decline - Download of Student Record Already Initiated
• Rule 65094 - Cannot Approve - Missing Document

If any of the validation rules fail, the rejections are returned for display to the user.

If the request is valid, the data is saved and an Access Granted to Student Record Message is sent to the student belonging to the confirmed ASN if they have an active connection.

The usage of this service is audited using Service Auditing including the auditing of Caller Information.

Shadow records are created for any updates that happen.

• List of Rejections, if any
