Authorized User
An Authorized User is identified as the individual other than the Student and the student’s Guardian that is granted access to the student’s information via myPass.
Note: Only the students that are 16 years of age or older are permitted to Add an Authorized User via myPass.

Data Access Rules

The following rules are applied to control access to view/add/edit the records created based on this business object.
Access to a Record
In order to access a record, the:
- Organization must have Access to the Student, and
- Organization must be associated to the student By Last School Enrolment or better1).
When accessible, the following rules are applied to specific data elements on the record:

Adding a new Record
In order to add a new record, the:
- Organization must have Access to the Student, and
- Organization must be associated to the student By Last School Enrolment or better3).
Updating a Record
In order to update an existing record, the:
- Organization must have Access to the Student, and
- Organization must be associated to the student By Last School Enrolment or better4), and
- Organization must own the record.
