Get Elections Alberta Student Information

The Get Elections Alberta Student Information service is used by Elections Alberta to obtain updates to student information.

Security

The service can be accessed by systems with the Elections Alberta User role.

Request Information

The following information is provided when using this service:

Last Known Source Version (based on the Elections Alberta Sync Version within the Elections Alberta Student Version record)

Service Functionality

The service will return a list of up to 1000 Student records (in version order) who meet the following criteria:

Has an Elections Alberta Sync Version that is greater than the Last Known Source Version passed into the request, and
Has Synchronization Status value other than Excluded.

Auditing

The usage of this service is audited using Service Auditing including the auditing of Caller Information.

The following information is returned after a successful request has been processed:

	Legal Name	M	Includes the following name data elements, of the student name identified as the student's Legal Name: First Name Middle Name Last Name ²⁾ Suffix
	Preferred Name	M	Includes the following name data elements, of the student name identified as the student's Preferred Name: First Name Middle Name Last Name ³⁾ Suffix
	Birth Date	M
	Gender	M
	Is Canadian Citizen	M
	Phone Number	O	Includes Student Phone Number data elements of the Student Phone Number record matching the following criteria⁴⁾: Is the student's Preferred Phone Number, AND Either does not have an Expiry Date or has an Expiry Date greater than or equal to the current date. If there is a phone number record matching this criteria, the following data elements are returned: Phone Number Type Number from the Student Phone Number Details Extension from the Student Phone Number Details
	Mailing Address	O	Includes the Current Mailing Address from the Student Address record. If the Current Mailing Address record exists, then the following Address data elements of the record are returned: Address Format (Student Address) Street City State/Province Postal Code Country
	Physical Address	O	Includes Student Address data elements for the Student Address record matching the following criteria: If the Student has a Current Physical Address, then the following Address data elements of the record are returned: Address Format (Student Address) Street City State/Province Postal Code Country If the Student does not have a Current Physical Address, but has a Current Mailing Address then the following Address data elements of the record are returned: Address Format (Student Address) Street City State/Province Postal Code Country If the Student does not have a Current Physical Address nor has a Current Mailing Address then a physical address is not provided to Elections Alberta.
	Secondary Students	O	Includes a list of Student Keys for student records with a Secondary ASN associated to this Primary ASN.
