The Home Education Notification business object is used to capture the notification information about home education a student is receiving at home that is not supervised by a School Authority. This information will be reviewed and if approved, the information will be used to update information within PASI including a Home Education Registration.

This business object is not considered a child business object of any other object in PASI.

The following rules are applied to control access to view/add/edit the records created based on this business object.

In order to access a Home Education Notification record, the user must:

• Either be the user that submitted the record, or
• Be part of the Government of Alberta (O.1)

There are no restrictions, limiting which users can add a Home Education Notification record.

In order to update a Home Education Notification record, the user must:

• Be part of the Government of Alberta (O.1)
