The Submit Responsible School service allows for a Responsible School record to be entered within PASI.

This service can be access by systems with the following security role(s):

A request to use this service will include the following information (* denotes mandatory information):

• Has Responsible School *
• Transition Reason *

When a request for this service is made the system applies the following validation rules:

• Rule 3004 - PASI Core Version Mismatch
• Rule 9002 - Invalid ASN
• Rule 9003 - Invalid School Code
• Rule 9009 - Deactivated ASN
• Rule 9011 - Secondary ASN
• Rule 9023 - Empty Update
• Rule 9063 - Alberta Student Number cannot be Updated
• Rule 9074 - Invalid Update to Responsible School
• Rule 9075 - Invalid Create for Responsible School
• Rule 9076 - Invalid Update for Responsible School
• Rule 10145 - Duplicate Effective Dates Not Permitted
• Rule 10146 - Consecutive Responsible Schools are not Permitted
• Rule 10147 – Invalid Transition Reason for Has Responsible School? value
• Rule 10148 – Missing Responsible School details
• Rule 11610 - Do not provide School Name
• Rule 11611 - Effective Date before Date of Birth
• Rule 11612 - Effective Date greater than one year in the future
• Rule 11613 - Invalid Province / State for Canadian or US
• Rule 11614 - Invalid Country
• Rule 11615 - Do not provide School City
• Rule 11616 - Do not provide School Province/State
• Rule 11617 - Do not provide School Country

If the validation rules fail, the request will be rejected and the rejection messages returned. If the request is not rejected, processing continues.

For every Responsible School record that is created, edited or deleted, to create:

• a Student School Enrolment Status Processor Trigger for each “synchronizable” not-deleted school enrolment record for that student, meaning that the school enrolment has a school year of the current year, current -1 school year, current -2 school year and future school years.
• a Responsible School Status Processor Trigger not-deleted responsible school record for that student.
