Recipient Address Details

Contains the mailing address information to be used when mailing the document order item.

All the attributes of the child Address object are included as part of the parent business objects.

Recipient Address on a Document Order should follow the mailing address standard as defined in the PASI Data Format Guidelines. The address saved to the Document Order Item should conform to the format defined in the guidelines; the following are some important rules to highlight:

  • International addresses should follow the “short” format where City, Province/State and Postal/ZIP code values saved to the Document Order Item are left blank. Those values are expected to be incorporated into the Street Address values.
  • Canadian province codes should be saved (when possible) instead of the name (e.g. “AB” instead of “Alberta”)
  • Canada addresses should be saved with a preferred Country value of “Canada”
  • US State codes should be saved (when possible) instead of the name (e.g. “AZ” instead of “Arizona”)
  • United States addresses should be saved with a preferred Country value of “United States”

When creating a Document Order using a Student Address, the Student Address mapping to Document Orders from the PASI Data Format Guidelines should be used to transpose a Student Address to the format expected in a Document Order Item.
