A Transcript is a summary of the student's high school achievements reflecting the best results overall. Transcripts are used by external stakeholders (such as Post Secondary Institutions or Employers) as part of application for schooling or jobs. Note: the document that was designed with the student in mind is the DAR, not the transcript.
The Transcript Processor is responsible for calculating the student's achievements for inclusion on the Transcript document.
At a high level the process to receive a transcript is as follows:
Although the Transcript contains the student's information, its focus is NOT on the student as a consumer (as the Detailed Academic Report (PDF) provides a complete history of the Student's attempts and achievements and was created for the student). The transcript has been designed and formatted with the following consumers of the Transcript in mind:
Refer to the Document Orders Overview for details on ordering, processing and delivery of a transcript.
In special cases, an Invalid Evaluation Transcript Message can be applied to a transcript and this results in the text message being applied to the student's printed transcript.
