Evaluated Mark

An Evaluated Mark describes a mark assigned to a student in a course, when the student did not take the course at a school. Evaluated Marks are typically provided by a school (under the authority of the school’s principal) and outline that although a student did not take the course, they have the requisite knowledge and/or skills to meet the objectives of the course.

Evaluated Mark with an approved mark value cannot be updated. In order to update an Evaluated Mark with an approved mark value, the mark value must first be unapproved. In PASIprep, the user interface allows a user to update a Evaluated Mark with an approved mark value, but before submitting the update, PASIprep first unapproves the mark value. In these situations, the PASIprep user must have the permission to both unapprove and update the Evaluated Mark.
